Luxury cruise operator APT has unveiled artist impressions of the interiors of its new boutique rivership, the RV Samatha (pronounced Sa-ma-ta), in its latest Burma River Cruising 2016/17 brochure.
As well as offering a range of sizes all suites are positioned on the outside of the ship to ensure all guests enjoy either a panoramic or twin balcony.
Glossy dark wooden ceiling panels and flooring complement and accentuate the green wall covering, bedding fabric and furniture within the living space.
The rivership’s main restaurant – heavily influenced by local design – will feature the cuisine of APT’s Asia Ambassador, celebrity chef Luke Nguyen.
The main restaurant has also been put together utilising local influences, with onboard menus and overall culinary program personally designed and overseen by APT Asia Ambassador andcelebrity chef Luke Nguyen. Guests who travel on the new vessel will be offered the chance to sample a specially designed degustation menu put together by Nguyen in the ship’s private eight-seat dining room.
Says APT’s general manager sales and marketing, Debra Fox: “Burma is one of the most exciting emerging river cruise destinations and we’re delighted to be introducing our first ship there on the Irrawaddy.”
